Even though I refrained myself from doing any school related activities with the girls, still they managed to color, draw and spell some. They even made some peg activity. I popped in the Juz Amma cassette and let them listen while they do the peg. So lets see, they did: drawing, coloring, writing, spelling, peg which acquired lots of motor skill, and Qur'an listening skill. Pheww...I guess it will make up for the times I slacked off last week aka my burn out days. I just figure this out just a few weeks ago. Keep in mind that I am new to HS-ing. I learn to relax when I skip a day or two or even three. since everyday, just naturally, they DO learn something.
Honestly, today, I really wanted some time alone to get things done, but looking at DH, it doesn't seem like its going to happen. I know, I can let them help me shop today. Maybe they can figure out 'less and more than' today..I'll let them write Eid list too. Bi'itnillah.
