We wanted to start lapbooking, but we kind of short of supplies. This have been a project stopper for us. Each time we started on one subject, we realized we have to go to Walmart to go get something. It started to get tiring, and time consuming. So, today, we are doing this with whatever we have at home. Then the sun start shining on us, and Subhannallah.. we did human body. The kids were busy doing their own art when I started. I asked A to lay down flat on the ground and traced her. She giggled and that made nosy K came over to see what we're up to. I got some print outs and A volunteered to color. K, the competitive one, started asking me for a task to do on the project. We search on the net for more info, and talked about all the organs. I draw the tongue and tell them about sense of taste. We do some counting too, I managed to get them to write, and dont forget PE. I asked them what can we do with these body part. They did some jumping and wiggling and off course more (they love horses and imitate them all day long). So we did Science, Art, Math, Handwriting, PE, Religion, Social Study and Technology. Now K wants to be traced too.
